A fluoroscopy study uses continuous X-ray images to produce a live digital video. There are many different types of fluoroscopy examinations.

    • We recommend wearing a separate top and bottoms during your appointment as this makes changing for the examination easier.
    • Preparation required will be dependent on the specific fluroscopy examination you have been referred for. Our team will provide any instructions at the time of booking.
  • The duration of a fluoroscopy examination will depend on the body part being imaged and the complexity of the study. Fluroscopy studies can take between 10 minutes and several hours. More information will be provided at the time of booking.

How do I access my images?

At Queensland X-Ray, we provide our patients with their images and results online. To access your images and results, you’ll need to register for an account when you visit one of our practices. If you’ve already registered, you can access the Patient Portal here.
