The Hornets Netball Club, located in Jimboomba strive to offer an inclusive team environment where everyone can participate. Their focus is on promoting fun, fitness, and fostering friendships within the community. Queensland X-Ray’s support has allowed them to provide their players with an exceptional netball experience while keeping it affordable for local families.
This season, they had eight teams successfully compete in the local competition, with three of those teams making it to finals. This year, they have had nine umpire, their largest number of umpires to date who have benefited from mentoring provided from the committee, which Queensland X-Ray helped subsidise. As a result, one of these umpires successfully gained their National C badge.
Queensland X-Ray were proud supporters of the Hornets Netball Club in 2023.
