Dr Hesham Ali

About

Dr Ali completed his MBBCH in 2005 through the University of Cairo in Egypt, and went on to achieve his Masters degree in Radiodiagnosis in 2011 followed by a Medical Doctorate in Radiodiagnosis and Intervention Radiology in 2016 through the same university. He was appointed as an assistant lecturer then a lecturer of diagnostic radiology at the department of medical imaging, faculty of medicine, Cairo University. He subsequently undertook two fellowships in paediatric radiology at the Royal Children's Hospital in Melbourne in 2018 and the Children's Hospital at Westmead in 2019. In 2019, he became a fellow with the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists.

Prior to joining Queensland X-Ray in 2023, Dr Ali held the position of Paediatric Staff Specialist at the Children's Hopsital at Westmead, Radiology VMO at Nepean and Liverpool Hospitals and Consultant Radiologist at Ashfield Radiology.
