Dr Santos Teles completed his medical degree in 2007 through Federal University of Bahia, and went on to achieve his specialist degree in radiology and diagnostic imaging in 2013 through Federal University of São Paulo. He has undertaken a thoracic imaging fellowship with the University of São Paulo (Brazil) and a cardiothoracic imaging fellowship with The Prince Charles Hospital (Australia). Dr Santos Teles joined the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists (RANZCR) in 2022 . His most recent experience prior to joining Queensland X-Ray was with the Gold Coast University Hospital as a Senior Radiology Registrar.
Dr Santos Teles joined Queensland X-Ray in 2023 and is currently completing a fellowship in general MRI and intervention.
