Congratulations to our Queensland X-Ray charity swim team, the X-Raycers, who recently took part in the Starlight Foundation Super Swim. The team comprised 24 swimmers from across the state including our radiographers and sonographers, administrative, marketing and operations staff, and a radiologist.
The X-Raycers raised $20,039 and swam a total of 621.76 kilometres throughout the month of February, placing the team in 2nd place on the national leaderboard for team fundraising, and 4th for the total team distance completed - a remarkable effort for first time participation!
Queensland X-Ray’s swimmers were among 6,080 from across Australia taking part in this annual Starlight Foundation fundraising event that helps to raise important funds to support sick kids.
