The National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) reports that 9 Australians lose their life every day to breast cancer. With these staggering statistics in mind, Queensland X-Ray made the decision to support the vital work of the NBCF to help change the statistics.
For every mammogram performed in the month of October, Queensland X-Ray will donate $2 to the National Breast Cancer Foundation.
The mission of the NBCF is to identify, fund and champion world-class research - research that will help detect tumours earlier, improve treatment outcomes, and ultimately – save lives. We wholeheartedly believe that research is central and critical to reducing deaths from breast cancer and are pleased to be able to put our support behind this cause.
