About
Dr Syed completed his medical degree (MBBS) and Radiology specialist training in India. He further subspecialised with an Oncology and Interventional Radiology Fellowship. In 2019, he was awarded the European Diploma in Radiology (EDiR).
Dr Syed became a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists (FRANZCR) in 2025 and completed an MSK fellowship with Queensland X-Ray in 2026.
Prior to joining Queensland X-Ray in 2025, Dr Syed worked for seven years as a Body Imaging Specialist at a leading tertiary care hospital in Riyadh. He subsequently worked for two years at Ballarat Base Hospital as a Diagnostic and Interventional Radiologist.
