Dr Parikh underwent a Residency with a Registrar position at Sir J.J. Group of Hospitals, and then completed Fellowships in CT and Neuroradiology at Bombay Hospital. He was an Assistant Radiologist at Tata Memorial Hospital and consultant Radiologist in CT Scanning, Sonography and Mammography at the Nanavati Hospital. Dr Parikh then commenced a position as a Consultant Radiologist in CT and MRI at NM Medical Centre and S L Raheja Hospital (India).
He joined Queensland X-Ray in 2006.
