About
Dr Gimpel graduated from the Merchant Taylors School and University of Birmingham (UK). He has worked as internal medicine and radiology registrar and staff radiologist at Royal Brisbane Hospital. He has also completed a fellowship in CT at the University of California (USA) and a fellowship in MRI at Flinders Medical Centre, Adelaide.
In 1981, Dr Gimpel worked in private practice until joining the team at Queensland X-Ray in 2003. He is also the VMO to Queensland Chest Clinic and BreastScreen.
