Dr Elizabeth Carter has completed specialised training (United Kingdom and Australia) in breast imaging, biopsies, gynaecology and pelvic floor imaging, defecography, and obstetric ultrasound. She has been a longstanding VMO at BreastScreen QLD since 1997.
After obtaining FRANZCR in Adelaide, Dr Carter also took special interest training in cardiac radiology, including echocardiography, CTCA, C MRI, initially at Southampton General and London St Thomas’ Hospitals, and then later at Prince Charles Hospital.
She has extensive experience in these special interest areas; but also in CT, ultrasound, fluoroscopy guided injections, interventional and other procedures (including HSG and HyCoSy).
