Dr Ash Walton was awarded his Bachelor of Medicine / Bachelor of Surgery (Honours) from the University of Sydney in 2004. He went on to complete his Radiology training at The Canberra Hospital, including an Interventional Radiology fellowship year, and was awarded Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists in 2010.
He then undertook advanced training in Nuclear Medicine and PET at John Hunter Hospital and Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital and was awarded Fellowship of the Australasian Association of Nuclear Medicine Specialists in 2013.
Dr Walton has worked as a Radiologist and Nuclear Medicine Specialist on the Gold Coast since 2014 and joined Queensland X-Ray in 2026.
