Queensland X-Ray is proud to support staff team members from our Mater Women's practice who took part in Australia's largest International Women's Day celebration, Mater Chicks in Pink Fun Run to raise funds for breast cancer.
Kylie, In Charge Medical Administrator at Mater Women's, explains why they participated in the 5km fun run:
"We work closely with the Mater Breast Cancer Centre and the amazing breast care nurses. Our very own Melissa has experienced the benefit of their care recently, so we wanted to help raise funds for breast cancer patients and Mater Chicks in Pink".
The team raised over $3000 to support women with breast cancer.
