In 2018 we sponsored some of our lovely staff to participate in the RACQ International Women’s Day Fun Run! This is an annual fun run held in Brisbane that brings the community together in support of women affected by breast cancer.
Hayley McCormick, Chief Radiographer at our Cleveland practice described the day as “exciting!”. She said, “Our small but enthusiastic team of runners from Queensland X-Ray participated and finished the very first 10kms of the International All Women’s Fun Run. As we crossed the Storey Bridge at 7.30am the temperature rose to 29 degrees, but the atmosphere made the effort easy and the smiles as we crossed the finish line were evident that a goal was achieved! Thank you Queensland X-Ray for the support and sponsorship. Can’t wait for next year!”
