About

Dr Siobhan Boyle is a Brisbane-based cardiologist with clinical appointments at The Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital and The Wesley Hospital. Dr Boyle graduated from The University of Glasgow in 2010 with an MBChB in Medicine and BSc (Sports Medicine) and was competitively appointed to clinical and academic roles within the National Health Service.

Dr Boyle completed her physician and cardiology training in Brisbane, working predominantly at The Mater Hospital, The Princess Alexandra Hospital, and The Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital. Her subspecialty interests include multimodality cardiac imaging—transthoracic and stress echocardiography, transoesophageal echocardiography, cardiac CT, and cardiac MRI—as well as obstetric cardiology and all aspects of preventative and general cardiology.

Dr Boyle completed further sub-specialty training in multi-modality imaging and cardio-obstetrics, both here in Brisbane and in London at the Royal Brompton and Chelsea and Westminster Hospitals, before returning to Brisbane in 2022 with her husband and their three children. Dr Boyle is a senior clinical lecturer at the University of Queensland with publications and presentations in her field of cardiology and is an active member of the Australian and New Zealand branch of the Society for Cardiovascular Computed Tomography (SCCT-ANZ).

Dr Boyle joined Queensland X-Ray in 2026 as a Cardiologist in Cardiac Imaging.
