About

Dr Jane Crossin was awarded a MB BCh and a Bachelor of Obstetrics from Queens University of Belfast in 1989. Following physician training and becoming a member of the College of Physicians in Ireland, she undertook her five year radiology training in Edinburgh, Scotland gaining her Radiology fellowship and in addition a MSC in Clinical Imaging. Following this, she went on to complete a fellowship in Thoracic and Cardiac Imaging as well as Abdominal Imaging in the University of Toronto University Health Network and Mount Sinai Hospitals.

Dr Crossin was appointed an Associate Professor in Radiology at the University Health Network and Mount Sinai Hospitals and practiced as a Radiology Consultant in Toronto, Canada for over three years. On moving to Brisbane, she obtained her Australian Radiology Fellowship and worked for Queensland Health and University of Queensland as a Consultant Radiologist and Senior Lecturer for five years at The Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital and Prince Charles Hospital. She joined the Queensland X-Ray team in 2008.
