Dr Arani Halder is an Interventional Radiologist who graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery from Bond University in 2011. After completing his Radiology specialisation in 2019 through the Princess Alexandra Hospital in Brisbane, he undertook two years of sub-specialist fellowship training in Canada.
He initially completed an Abdominal Imaging Fellowship through the University of Toronto Joint Department Medical Imaging hospital network including Toronto General, Princess Margaret and Mount Sinai Hospitals.
Dr Halder subsequently undertook a second fellowship in Vascular and Interventional Radiology through McGill University health network, including the University Health Centre, Montreal General and the Jewish General Hospitals.
Upon his return, he joined Queensland X-Ray as a Consultant Specialist Radiologist in 2021. He also works as Staff Specialist in Interventional Radiology at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital and the Princess Alexandra Hospital.
He currently holds an Honorary Adjunct Assistant Professor position through Bond University Faculty of Health Sciences & Medicine. Through his private and public appointments, he is actively involved in registrar training, research and medical education.
