About

Dr Arani Halder is an Interventional Radiologist who graduated from Bond University with an MBBS in 2011. After completing his Radiology specialisation in 2019 through the Princess Alexandra Hospital in Brisbane, he undertook two years of sub-specialist fellowship training in Canada.

He initially completed an Abdominal Imaging Fellowship through the University of Toronto Joint Department of Medical Imaging hospital network, including Toronto General, Princess Margaret and Mount Sinai Hospitals.

Dr Halder subsequently undertook a second fellowship in Vascular and Interventional Radiology through McGill University Health Network, including the University Health Centre, Montreal General and the Jewish General Hospitals.

Dr Halder is certified with the European Board of Interventional Radiology (EBIR), which is endorsed by the Interventional Radiology Society of Australasia (IRSA).

He joined Queensland X-Ray as a Consultant in 2021 and holds a Staff Specialist appointment in Interventional Radiology at the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital. Through his private and public appointments, he is actively involved in registrar training, research and medical education.
