Dr Andrew McLaughlan graduated from the University of Melbourne (MBBS) after clinical training at the Royal Melbourne Hospital. He subsequently became a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists, training at PANCH and the Alfred Hospital.
He has worked in various private and public institutions in both urban and rural Victoria, including at the Mildura and Goulburn Valley Base Hospitals.
Dr McLaughlan joined Queensland X-Ray in 2001 and is based in Brisbane.
