Queensland X-Ray proudly sponsored the General Practice Conference and Exhibition (GPCE), held at the Royal International Convention Centre (Brisbane Showgrounds).
As one of Australia’s premier events for general practitioners, the two-day conference brought together the largest annual gathering of GPs in the country. It provided a valuable opportunity for healthcare professionals to explore cutting-edge medical innovations, participate in accredited CPD education, and network with peers and industry leaders.
Our Referrer Liaisons — Taylor Burgess, Trish Crow (pictured), Sara McKain and Stephanie Farina — attended the event, engaging with delegates and offering insights into the critical role medical imaging plays in diagnosing and managing a wide range of health conditions.
One of the key topics that generated strong interest was the National Lung Cancer Screening Program which launched on July 1. Queensland X-Ray is proud to be a participating provider, offering bulk-billed low-dose CT scans across our practices throughout Queensland. This initiative aims to support early detection of lung cancer in eligible Australians — improving outcomes through timely diagnosis and treatment.
Supporting events like GPCE aligns with our commitment to advancing medical education and improving healthcare outcomes for communities across Queensland.
