Ongoing Support for Blush Cancer Care’s Fight Back With Fitness Program

In 2026, Queensland X-Ray continued its valued partnership with Blush Cancer Care, presenting its annual donation to support patients recovering from breast cancer treatment.

The funding contributes to the annual operational costs of the Fight Back With Fitness (FBWF) program, which supports participants who have recently undergone treatment with their recovery. The program focuses on improving strength and overall wellbeing during a critical stage of the patient journey.

As part of Queensland X-Ray’s support, participants also receive two complimentary DEXA scans to monitor changes in body composition and track their progress throughout the program.

Queensland X-Ray recently visited Blush Cancer Care to present the donation to Chair Dr Sharyn Donaldson and her team.

The FBWF program was developed by exercise physiologists at The Fit Lab and is overseen by Blush Cancer Care Inc. Backed by ongoing research at Edith Cowan University, the program highlights the positive role of exercise in improving outcomes for cancer patients.

Through this ongoing partnership, Queensland X-Ray helps ensure participants can access the program and complimentary DEXA scans, supporting better recovery outcomes for patients across Toowoomba and the Darling Downs.
