Queensland X-Ray are excited to announce the opening of our new practice at North Queensland Cowboys Stadium. Located in the Hutchinson Builders Centre, adjacent to the Cowboys’ training field, this is our seventh practice in the Townsville region.
The new practice is equipped to deliver a comprehensive range of medical imaging services, including X-rays, CT scans, ultrasounds, 3T MRI, and advanced musculoskeletal imaging - with a focus on sports imaging.
As the preferred imaging provider of the North Queensland Cowboys, Queensland X-Ray is proud to provide high-quality sports imaging services using cutting-edge technology. When it comes to sports injuries, early and accurate diagnosis is crucial, helping athletes and active individuals safely return to doing what they love.
While sports imaging is a focus at this new location, the practice also caters to a wide range of medical imaging needs for the broader community.
Leading the new practice will be Dr Peter Brookfield, an experienced radiologist with a deep understanding of sports medicine, under the guidance of Townsville Managing Radiologist Dr Alan Boles.
Being based at the stadium gives us a great opportunity to support our local sports teams. Medical Imaging can support quicker recovery, injury prevention, and long-term musculoskeletal health. Our services extend beyond sports imaging.
