Queensland X-Ray Welcomes 2026 Graduates!

Last week, Queensland X-Ray welcomed our 2026 Graduate Radiographers and Nuclear Medicine Technologists as they begin an exciting new chapter in their careers.

38 graduates took part in a comprehensive two-day orientation program designed to set them up for a successful year ahead. The program provided a valuable opportunity for graduates to connect with one another, build relationships, and get to know the cohort they will work alongside throughout the year.

During the orientation, graduates heard from Queensland X-Ray leaders and learned about our history, values, and current operations, as well as Sonic Healthcare Radiology Group. The program included workshops and training sessions, with hands-on clinical components such as cannulation practice to help build confidence and essential skills.

Our Graduate Program offers an invaluable foundation for graduates, focusing on best practices in patient care and exposure to advanced imaging techniques across more than 50 Queensland X-Ray practices.

Graduates benefit from structured professional development and mentorship, with dedicated support throughout the program. They rotate through a variety of practices, gaining experience in both community and hospital settings, with opportunities to work across Queensland, from Cairns to the Gold Coast, including Toowoomba and the Redlands.

As we welcome our 2026 graduates to Queensland X-Ray, we look forward to seeing their growth and contributions to the field of medical imaging.
