Spinal Imaging is a sub-speciality of Radiology and covers a range of services which capture images of your spinal alignment and how this area impacts on the rest of your joints, muscles and nervous system. These images are captured using techniques such as X-ray, CT, and MRI.
In addition to the imaging of your spine, Queensland X-Ray offers a full range of interventional procedures which are ideal for managing chronic pain in the back, pelvis, hip or joint areas.
Our Hospital sites provide a comprehensive service and full range of these procedures, however, for our patients’ convenience, we also have specialised Radiologists at our community sites who are able to provide this service.
Your referring Doctor will discuss with you which scan is most appropriate for your condition and whether an interventional procedure could help alleviate pain.
