Pregnancy Ultrasound – Nuchal Translucency Assessment

The Nuchal Translucency Assessment offers assessment for chromosomal anomalies in early pregnancy.

The Nuchal Translucency Assessment offers pregnant women an assessment for some chromosomal anomalies such as Down’s Syndrome. The test is done in conjunction with a blood test. Your referring doctor should organise for a blood test to be taken at least three working days before the ultrasound appointment. The ultrasound is performed between 11 weeks 3 days and 13 weeks 6 days.
