QXR proudly sponsored the U12 girls South West Metro Pirates basketball team in 2020.
The Pirates club is a not-for-profit organisation run to develop basketball in Brisbane’s southwest and offers skill development programs from 5 years of age, up to having teams participate in the Qld State League and National Basketball League 1 competitions.
QXR sponsorship helped the girls travel and compete in the representative basketball State Classics which were held in Townsville. The contribution helped with travel costs from Brisbane’s south to Townsville, where QXR has 7 practices providing imaging services to the region.
We’re proud that we can make this contribution to a group of young and passionate basketballers. The community spirit shown by clubs from all over the state was great to see during a difficult year.
