The installation of breakthrough PET/CT technology located at the Mater Medical Centre, South Brisbane, is revolutionising diagnosis and treatment by offering dramatic improvements in clinically relevant information. Patients undergo a PET and a fully diagnostic high-resolution contrast-enhanced CT study as part of the one examination. Patients and their referrers receive PET images, the CT images and fused images as well as a full PET report, a full diagnostic CT report, and overall combined findings.The Queensland X-Ray PET/CT Centre is located at:Level 3, Mater Medical Centre293 Vulture StSouth Brisbane, QLD 4101To make a booking or speak to one of our PET/CT staff please contact the practice on (07) 3840 6222.DIRECTIONS: There are three simple ways to access the CentreFrom Mater Medical Centre carpark (Vulture Street) - From Vulture St, enter the Mater Medical Centre carpark and drive to Level 3.From Queensland X-Ray main department - Enter the hospital on Level 6. Follow the corridor past Chloe's cafe to the Mater Medical Centre lifts. Take the lift to Level 3, turn right and enter the capark where the PET/CT Centre is located on the right. From Level 5, Mater Medical Centre (adjacent HOCA) - Enter Level 5 of the Mater Medical Centre, turn left and take lifts to Level 3. Turn right and enter the carpark and turn right.
