Women's Imaging

Queensland X-Ray has two specialised Women’s Diagnostic Centres at Sunnybank Private Hospital and Mater Private Hospital, South Brisbane.

Many of our other practices also offer pregnancy imaging, however, these specialised sites enable all the imaging needs that you might require throughout a pregnancy, allowing patients to become familiar with the sonographer and the enviroment in which they are seen.

Is Ultrasound safe?

In the last 30 years, more than 50 million women have had diagnostic ultrasound scans during their pregnancies.

Ultrasound does not involve harmful effects on patients or the pregnancy as there is no ionising radiation.
